Lileep
Type: Rock / Grass
Species: Sea Lily Pokémon
Height: 1.0 m (3'03")
Weight: 23.8 kg (52.5 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Lileep became extinct approximately a hundred million years ago. It leads a very simple life for a predator Pokémon - its body remains immobile at all times, only moving its mouth to catch its prey. It will occasionally move its tentacles to grip objects or to resemble seaweed to fool unsuspecting prey. It is resurrected from a root fossil and then evolves into Cradily starting at level 40.

THE PAPER MODEL

Width: 14.6 cm/ 5.7 in
Depth: 16.2 cm/6.4 in
No. of Pages: 4
No. of Pieces: 32

NOTES: Build model from base up. Start at the tummy - glue a couple of pennies onto the inside of that piece, close to the tail - and then attach the feet and tail. Stop when you have attached the rim of the neck-base to the body. Construct the neck separately - insert a roll of scrap paper into this structure for stability - then connect that to the last piece of the neck-base and close the body section with that piece. Make the head-bulb, and insert and attach the neck through the bottom of that. Continue closing the head at the face. Construct the petals individually and attach them one by one to the head, in a clock-wise direction.

Height: 0.5 m (1′08″)
Weight: 7.9 kg (17.4 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Cyndaquil is a timid Pokémon. It lives in groups and tends to hide in dangerous situations. Its fur is bluish on top of its body, but a milky color on the underside. Although called the Fire Mouse Pokémon, Cyndaquil seems to be a composite of features from the echidna, seen in the flames erupting from its back, and the shrew, the general shape of its body. Its eyes are often closed, as it is still young. It has four spots from which its flames erupt. It lacks claws on its forelimbs, but has a single claw on each hind foot.

No. of Pages: 6

Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Lyrin
NOTES: If you plan on building Cyndaquil without flames, it'll be a Medium difficulty level craft.

Follow the numbers on the template to assemble the model. First build and asssemble the flames, then leave them aside and start building the main body (starting from the feet). Once you've glued piece 24, glue the flames to the body, and then glue piece 25 around them. This is the hardest part in the model.

To make Cyndaquil stand, you'll have to add a little weight inside it, in correspondence of its mouth.

TORTERRA

389 / TORTERRA - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Torterra
Type: Grass / Ground
Species: Continent Pokémon
Height: 2.2 m (7′03″)
Weight: 310.0 kg (683.4 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Torterra is the heaviest of all the final evolved starters, and the second tallest, coming in only behind Feraligatr. Despite their great size, these Pokémon are peaceful in nature and enjoy being with others of their own kind, preferring to bask in sunlight as they do not like to fight. When immobile, they look as if they are part of the ground upon which they rest, not as though they were a sleeping Pokémon. It evolves from Grotle starting at level 32. It is the final form of Turtwig.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 26.6 cm/10.4 in
Width: 20.0 cm/ 7.8 in
Depth: 34.1 cm/13.4 in
No. of Pages: 18
No. of Pieces: 107
Level: Hard
Designer: Brandon and PMF
Photo: PMF
NOTES: Torterra is pretty big and is built in 3 parts: Body, Shell, Tree. It is recommended to glue the trunk of the tree on the shell before closing the shell, it will be really easier to glue correctly. On the PDO, the first 6 pages are for the shell/trunk; start by building the top and close on the bottom. No real need to close it perfectly, the bottom will be hidden in the end.
Then the middle part (7 next pages) are for the body; start by building the head, then the body, the upper body and finally insert the legs. Let dry and glue the shell over the body.
You should still have 4 pages of green pieces which are for the tree leaves. There's 3 parts which you'll then have to glue on the tree by finding a way to keep 'em still while they dry. It's a really hard model so if you made it up to the leaves, I'm sure you'll find a way :P
