CATERPIE

010 / CATERPIE - Pokémon Papercraft
Name:
Caterpie
Type: Bug
Species: Worm Pokémon
Height: 0.3 m (1'00")
Weight: 2.9 kg (6.4 lbs.)
Interesting Facts: Caterpie grow very quickly, and need to eat voraciously in order to meet their energy requirements. They have various adaptations which permit them to safely devour plant material, including an antennae that releases a horrible smell. It will shed its skin many times before finally cocooning itself in thick silk. It evolves into Metapod starting at level 7, and then evolves into Butterfree starting at level 10.

THE PAPER MODEL
Height: 15.0 cm/5.9 in
Width: 12.1 cm/ 4.8 in
Depth: 7.2 cm/2.8 in
No. of Pages: 3
No. of Pieces: 24
Level: Medium
Designer: Brandon
Photo: Skelekitty
NOTES: The antennae will be the most troublesome section of this model because the parts are so small and fiddly. Build from the head down. We recommend that you use tweezers and build the two "pointy-out" parts first, then wrap the middle joining-part around their ends before you close the stalk section. Remember to place a counter weight in the base of the tail before closing the abdomen. (The model in the photo is a little stripy because of a blocked printer nozzle =p)
